What happened?

Somehow they are actually very good! In fact, when I did the experiment with flower pots, they didn't look like "spiders"? This was the result.

Here's a little background on my experience with the flower pot and the experiments I found that used it:

I had an idea for a flower pot with a couple different colours and a really cute lid on each pot. I went on over to the internet for a different idea, and there's a video on YouTube called "Dandelions: The Making of Flower Pot" by Chris, who has probably never seen anything like this before... In this video, Dave and I use some of the same techniques to try out flower pots...

The first thing we did was add a little bit of glue. I then started sanding as much as possible under the soil, to prevent the pot from getting brittle. Then I put some paper down on my hand so it wouldn't clog with water or clay. This really made everything really cool, but I also used the white plastic stuff to make it look kind of brownish-gray so I wouldn't see the same colour again in the picture. In this photo, I used a little extra white glue, so the pots are actually just red and white.
